While trying to prepare myself for an exam that involves knowledge on Excel and Open Office, I used the ratings I give to Japanese animations on ANN as data. It is sort of interesting since you end up understanding a bit more about yourself. Average rating of 4.3 to 730 titles.

In episode 7 of Occult Academy, the protagonist, Maya Kumashiro (center), and her friend, Kozue Naruse (left), are invited to their friend’s house, Ami Kuroke (right). Her room has lots of really interesting sports posters. The big one in the center behind Maya is a real poster of the Tokyo 1964 Olympics. Both below the calendar also exist. It’s Liverpool’s Steven Gerrard to the right and the other is ex-Cavaliers’ Lebron James. Below is a side-by-side comparison of the three posters. Slight font changes on the 1964 poster, horrible font choice on the actual Gerrard poster I could find.

A-1 Pictures, studios responsible for this show, did forget one thing. The story is set in 1999. Gerrard debuted in 1998 as a professional and was a mere spec of the star player he is today. Worse is Lebron who was only drafted in 2003.
